On the Raise the Flag Stage at 8:30 with The Blacklist & The Amino Acids!!

DETROIT | CORKTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL (CMF) is quickly growing into one of the area premier and most endearing annual music events and looking again to draw a large audience of music lovers. Taking place during the day of July 24, 2010 in Roosevelt Park, located in front of the infamous Michigan Central Station; the festival is design to attract many visitors and press as well as locals from area neighborhoods to enjoy. The festival is a free event that relies on hard working volunteers and wonderful community sponsorships, independently financed by said businesses and groups. After obtaining a permit through the City of Detroit to have the festival in 2008, and partnering with the Detroit International Lions Club (one of the oldest national community service organization) in 2009; this year, the Festival's founding business QUIETDOWN PRESS joined forces with 4th Horizon BEATLOVAS MUSIC and SpinDetroit to cover a greater playing field for music. CMF is always seeking more support from both local and corporate sponsors to help make CORKTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL 2010 the best one yet.
